National Farmers’ Day -Mallappa Nimbargi

National Farmers’ Day, also known as Kisan Diwas, is observed every year on 23rd December in India to honor the invaluable contribution of farmers to the nation’s economy and food security. This day commemorates the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, who dedicated his life to the welfare, rights, and upliftment of farmers.

Farmers are the backbone of India, ensuring food for millions despite challenges such as climate change, economic pressure, and limited resources. Kisan Diwas serves as a reminder of their hard work, resilience, and significance in building a strong and self-reliant nation.

Additionally, in this post, i would like to highlight Mr. Mallappa N. Nimbargi, a farmer from Vijayapur, known for his very soft nature, simplicity, and deep sense of humanity. Though he and his wife were not blessed with their own children even after many years of marriage, he never felt that anything was missing in his life. Instead, he chose a higher path of fulfillment.

With a broad heart and parental affection, he considers every girl and boy in his surroundings as his own daughter and son. His life reflects the true spirit of motherhood, fatherhood, kindness, and selfless love.

At the same time, Mrs. Mallappa Nimbargi, a devoted housewife, plays an equally inspiring role by educating and guiding the children around their home, nurturing young minds with care and values.

Their lives teach us an important lesson — we should never underestimate anyone. Every individual has feelings, wisdom, and the ability to connect the larger world through their own small world called family. There is so much to learn from their simplicity, compassion, and humanity.

Heartfelt respect and gratitude to you, Appayya. Thank you for being an inspiration.
