The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women(Nov 25–Dec 10)- 2025

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, observed on November 25, marks the beginning of the global “16 Days of Activism” campaign, which continues until December 10. This period serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to address all forms of violence—physical, emotional, sexual, and economic—that women and girls face worldwide. It highlights the struggles of millions who experience abuse in silence and emphasizes the importance of creating safer homes, workplaces, and communities. The day calls on governments, institutions, and individuals to strengthen laws, promote awareness, and ensure justice and dignity for every woman.

From November 25 to December 10, organizations across the world unite to amplify voices, support survivors, and encourage collective action. These 16 days spark conversations about gender equality, empower women to speak out, and inspire men and youth to be allies in bringing change. Ending violence against women is not just a global responsibility but a human duty that demands empathy, education, and consistent advocacy. On this important day, it is essential that we educate ourselves, improve our own behavior, and learn to respect others. Every woman should be treated with the same care and dignity we give to our own mothers, sisters, and daughters. Respect, care, and lawful conduct must be our primary responsibility. Even a small step taken today can create a major positive change in life and society. Thank you.
